As the boat was being launched, there were seven us of standing on the dock. We were beneath the tin roof that shelters the DNR patrol boat, watching the Moomba get uncovered through a wall of rain flowing down off the roof. When we climbed into the boat, it was pouring.
After about thirty minuets, the rain stopped and we had a smooth lake to ourselves. Kelsey and Kanani both got up on a wakeboard for their first time ever, and Dan was landing a couple “Fashion Airs” about four feet beyond the far wake. We had John and Jeff tearing it up on the slalom ski too.
No one brought a camera, but i swear it looked just like this…
